We are a progressive recorder duo without creativity bounds. As two professional recorder players in our 20s, we are driven by a shared passion for exploring new horizons in music.

The Artists
Duo Reimagined consists of the creative minds of recorder virtuosos Hannah Erxleben and Johanna Boehm. Their paths crossed during their recorder studies at the esteemed Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where they bonded over a shared passion for early music and a common aspiration to push the recorder’s boundaries.
Hannah’s experience with producing electronic music over the last years, opened new possibilities for creating a captivating and innovative sound. Johanna’s vision of establishing a new audience for the recorder fueled their mutual desire to explore and experiment, leading them to form Duo Reimagined.
Together, they embark on an exploration beyond the recorder’s conventional use, fusing tradition with innovation to create captivating performances.
